Rated 5 out of 5 by Great blower I bought this a couple months ago and have been nothing but pleased with it so far. It;s powerful and has met my hopes and expectations. Starts up easy, good on gas, comfortable to operate, and has a decent amount of power. Fall clean up is around the corner, so the real test is coming up. I recommend anyone who's looking for a backpack blower to spend the extra $ to get this blower, it will save you time and alot of work. August 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Way to go Echo I replaced my 13 year old leaf blower with this new top of the line model, definitely not disappointed! August 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good quality and performance This powerful blower cuts my yard maintenance in half. It starts easily and runs pretty quietly compared to most other models. The controls are well positioned and comfortable to use. I bought the professional model which is slightly heavier in weight and the shoulder straps might stand to be a bit more padded to improve shoulder comfort. June 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great performance I have had a PB601 backpack blower since the late 1990's. It was a great machine. I live in a heavily wooded area and that was the only blower that would move knee deep wet leaves. Neighbors that have Husqvarna and Stihl blowers borrow mine when the leaves get wet because their units can't handle the job. Since it was getting old, I decided to get a new backpack blower. It's about the same weight as the 601. The straps are a lot better and performance-wise, about the same. The air pipes from the old one will fit on the new one even though they look different. The air filter is located on the carb, which is a vast improvement. On the 601, the air filter was long and skinny and went across the top of the unit. Though there was a plastic mesh screen, debris would collect between the air filter housing and the engine and I was constantly having to clean it out. There is a lot less vibration compared to the old blower and it doesnt have a huge plastic cage surrounding the engine and blower housing. That makes it a lot more comfortable to start. The only problem that I found was that the amount of area where you can move the speed controls up and down the tube is greatly limited. I have short arms. The 601 had a groove that went across the entire tube for adjustment. The new one will only adjust about 4 inches. I traded tubes so I could get the controls closer to the blower housing. As far as I can figure, the 601 is near 20 years old. Other than maintainence, it really didn't require any service. The on/off switch kept breaking and I got tired of running new wire so I just would choke it out in order to shut it off. Otherwise, it didn't have any problems. I'm hoping the new blower is as reliable as the old one. June 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Backpack blower pb-755st great blower it replaced my 1991 pb 4600 backpack blower that is still going strong today June 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Blower I am very happy with my Echo PB755st. When I first pressed the throttler to full, the force push me backwards. It starts easily and it cranks within one or two pulls. I am glad that I went with this model and the Echo family. June 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good blower for the price Bought the blower a little over a month ago and the power and comfort are very good for the price! I had an issue where the carburetor diaphragm broke in a little too much and was getting way too much fuel. Was quickly replaced for a new blower no questions asked. Even with the issue I still love the machine. June 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Here comes the hurricane! I have a Craftsman hand held blower that's rated for 210 mph, not too shabby for a hand held, but it runs when it wants too even with high quality fuel. I have a large lot with lots of oak and maple trees. My Craftsman wouldn't move the leaves at all. I have been renting a old, highly used, Echo PB 755SH from my local rental shop for a weekend at a time for about 5 years now. Every time I use it I want to own one. Well I finally bought my own. Mine is a PB 755ST. We had a few days of rain so I had to let the lawn dry out before mowing it. The yard was a complete mess from the storm. I did all my trimming and edging with my new Echo trimmer and mowed the lawn. Time to blow. I fueled up my blower with Echo Power Fuel, primed it choked it, and 2 pulls later it fired . I fired it up and let it warm up for a minute and went to town. I was blowing sticks, twigs, leaves lots of dirt and debris like a pro. The entire yard was cleaned up in a few short minutes. My Craftsman handheld could have done the job but it wouldn't have the power of Echo and it would have taken me an hour instead of a few minutes. Take it from me, a blower running for a few minutes VS. an hour keeps the neighbors happy too. June 4, 2015
