I see that you have the DL1402A is this an exact replacement?
Yes, the DL1402A is a direct replacement for a DL1400. We made a few changes to most of our pulling winches (like the DL1400) in the year 2000, but they were related to the gear teeth on the drive shaft and reel. You can directly swap out a DL1400 for a DL1402A without any issue.
