I installed this unit in a crawl space about 4' high and with an area of about 1800sq ft which was developing a damp problem
I am informed that the electric bill has risen by $100 per month as a result of the unit running a lot.

Is this remotely possible ?
Thank you
Steve

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

It is possible your electric bill could increase by $100.00 per month. The main factors to look at will be the amount of moisture in the crawlspace, how long the unit needs to run to maintain the set humidity, the amp draw of the unit (5.3 amps), and what your utility provider charges for your electric service (KW per hour). The more the unit runs, the more power the unit will consume.
