Rated 4 out of 5 by Be careful ! Powerful ! It's a very handy tool. Treat it as a mini chainsaw, it can kickback. I used it to cut some backsplash and remove grout. My ONLY complaint was the tool seemed to " bog down, not turn on as easily" when it became dusty. November 9, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good until it stopped working I literally have had this for 3 weeks, it's been working great and then boom it stopped working out of nowhere. I checked the brushes and one is jammed. Can't get it out and it's annoying. Can't contact customer service over the weekend. My last Dremel lasted years, about 6 years before it kicked and I wasn't even mad. This had been active for 3 weeks and it's dead! In the middle of a dang project. November 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Housing cap won't come off, I bought the 4200 yesterday used it once and the housing cap won't come off. November 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect Tool Bought this tool to do some custom tile cutting, worked great. I was unsure about the power/lasting time of the battery so I went with the corded option. Lots of cord and it is easy enough to keep out of the way. Very happy with my decision. Easy to change out tool heads, carrying case is a little full of attachments that probably won't get used much but make it a bit of a pain to close due to the random jumble. November 2, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Tool stopped working tool stopped working...only two years old with minimal use during that time. October 31, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ugh, should have gotten the 4000 I was hoping some of the negative reviews were wrong. However I had been having issues with the locking mechanism and now it seems to have locked up all together and I cannot use it anymore. October 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by After a few uses it doesn't even turn on I've had this 4200 for a few years now but I've only used it 3-4 times and it worked off and on until finally it just won't turn on at all. I have read that this could be the brushes but whether it is or it isn't, it should have worked much longer than it did. October 19, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Accessories I purchased this product for a sheet rocking project and the accessory for cutting circles I could not get off the Dremel. The plastic piece that is threaded on the Dremel would just spin. The thumb screw that tighten down on the plastic piece just spun and would not catch. That piece would be better if it was metal that would thread on the Dremel. Now the circle cutting accessory no longer works so I ended up throwing it away October 15, 2015
