Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to Use This is a great saw for quick projects or large projects where a large power saw is not appropriate. Easy to use and handle. Great design. March 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Versitle Works great on muitiple surface. No job to big so far February 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tool! I picked this up a few months ago and have used it for multiple different projects; from cutting drywall and lumber to metal and tile. The tool itself is easy to handle with just one hand. The blade life could last a bit longer, but given the versatility of the tool I am ok with that. February 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Tool I bought this after starting to replace the windows in my house and discovering that I needed to trim the siding around the old windows to remove them. After attempting to use a circular saw I decided I needed something a lot lighter and easier to handle and decided on the Dremel SM-20. I was amazed at how easy it was to guide by hand. Just mark a line and follow it. I also used it to rip several lengths of 1x4 up to 7 feet long. They almost looked like they were done on a table saw. Definitely a tool that's worth its weight in gold. October 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good addition to the toolbox!! I have to say that the biggest impression from this tool is the torque. When you hit the trigger you better have a good grip or it might jump out of your hand. Hopefully that will sum up the review as the rest of the features are well documented and certainly do not disappoint.I put this tool through many uses and it has not left me wanting for any of them with the exception of blade options, that seems a bit limited. Also, a case, even a canvas case, would be a most welcome gratuity. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent tool for specific applications Bought the Saw Max SM-20 specifically for a laminate flooring job in my home. Excellent for plunge and fussy cuts. I preferred my cabinet saw (table saw) for dimension (cross and rip) cuts of planks, but the SM-20 would do those as well, just less precise and slower. The dust collection adapter should be packed with the saw. My local stores did not carry it. I also bought a flush cut blade and found that to be superb for casing cuts. June 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to use Bought this tool to work on miniatures. It was the first time I have used a power saw, and found it easy to handle and learn how to use. The cuts it makes are super, and leaves me with very little sanding. April 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great cutting tool for straight smooth cuts I replaced a window in my home and the siding was very difficult to cut out for trimming the window. After a number of failed attempts with other tools, I broke down an purchased the Dremel SM20-03. This cut easily through the siding, with minimal effort to guide and hold the tool. Other tools, such as the jigsaw, couldn't because of the materials not being help firm. The Dremel, like a circular saw, held the work and required little effort to guide and get the results I needed. My only suggestion is to purchase the optional attachment to use a vacuum, as the saw is actually an abrasive blade and generates a lot of siding dust. It is a very well designed tool and with the worm drive, you don't have the torque problem that other tools have. February 19, 2014
