Rated 3 out of 5 by Not a very powerful fan. Low speed will not pick up my louvers. High speed works OK. Perhaps a light weight aluminum or plastic louver system would be better. The fan is easy to install once the hole is cut. The directions are REALLY brief and vague. They don't even address the variety of two speed switch that came with it, so be careful if you are not great with electrical stuff. This one took a little experimentation with a Continuity tester to figure it outOverall decent quality, fairly light and moderately noisy on high, very quiet on low July 23, 2012

I am looking for an interior house exhaust fan, that we can mount on a vertical wall.
Will the louvers work in that position?

Answer:
Unfortunately none of the whole house fans we offer will work in a vertical position, it would be best if you called into our HVAC department at 1-800-Grainger, and spoke with a specialist regarding your specific application.
