Hello,
The inlet to this Contact Tank is located on the bottom of the tank it is 11/4" NPT. and it is 2" up off the bottom, there is also a 1 1/4" NPT connection at the top. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for using Grainger Ask & Answer.

Hello,
This tank is a contact water tank, it has no bladder the water will come in contact with the polymer lining inside the tank. If you are in need of a bladder tank that would be the Grainger part number 3ZVC1. If you have any other questions, please ask. Thanks for using Grainger Ask & Answer!

Where is the MSDS?

I bought two of these for my well water system. I am now reading conflicting statements as to use for potable water systems. I must have the MSDS.

Answer: 
The fiberglass-wound is designed for use with fresh water; the WQA-approved air cell is resistant to chlorine and will not affect the natural purity of your water and is impervious to chemicals found in aggressive water. There is no data concerning water treated with Alum per the manufacture.
