Rated 2 out of 5 by Bought this tank in 2008. It lasted only 6 years and failed with very light use. Their warranty is for 5 years. The pressure tank it replaced lasted 25 years!!!! Pass on this product. I gave it 2 stars because the finish on the outside was durable, still bright and shiny actually looks new. It is the interior that rusted and failed. You have to say at least one thing positive on these reviews right? June 1, 2014

I would like to ask if there is a valve or opening at the top of this tank to fill with water from, say, a hose, that doesn't require 1 1/4" NPT fittings?

Also, if I am looking to pressurize up to 120psi in the tank's bladder and am looking to avoid pressure pulses further down the line from entering into the tank. Will I need an external valve, or is there a valve from the NPT fitting at the tank outlet?

Answer:
Unfortunately these types of tanks cannot be filled from the top with water. The schraeder valve is only equipped to be filled with air. By filling with air it will help to reduce pulsing in the water line.
