Rated 5 out of 5 by Works well!Very efficient, thermostat seems to be fairly accurate. It cycles on and off correctly. We have it in a un-insulated garage, aprox. 1100 sq ft and it will warm it up to 70 in a few minutes and hold it there without any problems. The paperwork says it consumes 1.5 gallons per hour, but it doesn't run constantly so it doesn't burn that much fuel. Seems to be well made, easy to assemble wheels and handle. We are pleased with it so far, it has run every day for over a week so far and not one problem. We shopped around but there wasn't anyone who offered a better deal than what we paid for it at Grainger, as well as we got that solid secure feeling that you get when purchasing a product from the professionals at Grainger. Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

This heater “can” burn diesel. However, the manufacture recommends K1 kerosene.
