It appears that it should attach to the following handtruck as well but it is not listed as an optional accessory:
But I cannot see how it attaches to the above 3W481 handtruck even though it is listed as an optional accessory.
The nose plate extension attaches to the bottom cross brace, and bolts to existing bolts at the bottom. The 3W08 is an all welded unit and does not have any bolt holes, the easy answer would be "drill the holes in the bottom" however that would change the Strucrtural Strenght of the hand truck. That is why the 3W089 does not have any optional accessories along with the other two listed without accessories. I hope this answers your question, thanks for using Grainger Ask & Answer!
If you look at the image, there are no visible bolt holes on the 3W481. So, where are these bolt holes?
BUT, there ARE bolt holes on the 3W089.
Are you sure that the nosepiece extension will fit 3W481 but not 3W089 and not vice versa?
