Rated 3 out of 5 by 2reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by The speed regulation of this product was poor at best. I used it with Armature feedback and not with a tachometer. Almost no acceleration or deceleration time. At low speeds the product would surge 50% of the time. June 6, 2013

Answer:
You can run the 180 vdc motor but not at full speed. 120 vac rectified will produce about 130 to 135 vdc. This will be the full speed of you motor. So yes the control will run the motor, but not at full speed, about 2/3 of full speed.

Answer:
Yes, it is the same just a different version number. That means that the vendor may have made some small change to the item but not a change significant enough that would affect or alter the function of the item.
