Rated 4 out of 5 by We have used many of these pumps in our water treatment business - have just had two defective units in a row - the LeGris fitting leaks. Seems like a bad batch. November 30, 2012

This is a replacement unit. Previous unit (same) was connected at 220v lasted ONLY 7-months. The warranty replacement unit just arrived ! and I was wondering if the voltage had something to do with the so short life span of it.

What is the recomended or preferred voltage for this unit ??

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following:

This unit is a dual voltage unit, and can be safely wired to either 115 or 240 volt. The manufacturer does not state a preference in efficiency for either voltage.
