Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following: These tables are meant for lifting. Not long term positioning. If a 200Lb load was placed on the table and it was pumped up to a specific height and left overnight (or 72 hours), it is not unusual to see the table drift down overnight. When the table is new it might drift down just a fraction of an inch (1/2 inch or so). Over time, use and age the drift might gradually increase more and more. All hydraulic devices need some sort of "rigid" support for "long term" support.
