a NO dry contact from a Panic Switch will toggle closed for 7 sec. upon activation of a wireless signal. The contact will be wired to your relay position 6 & 7. I need your relay to close and pass 24 V AC to a max draw 1 amp siren for est. 120 sec. Is this the right relay?
2nd do you also make this exact relay for 12 V DC? Thanks

Answer: 
The 6A859 relay would be a good match to the description you provided. Grainger does not currently stock a 12vdc version of this relay. Grainger item numbers 1EJP4 and 6CXE0 will also function as you need and are 12vdc, but are a different style.

Answer: 
Per the manufacturer, input voltage is applied to to the timer at all times. Upon closure of a normally open isolated start switch, the load is energized and remains in this state as long as the switch is kept closed. Answer: 
The proper operation of this Off-Delay Time Delay Relay is as follows:

Power is applied to the coil at all times ( terminals 2 & 3). Upon CLOSURE of the start switch (a "dry" external contact [no voltage], terminals 6 & 7), the contacts transfer, either connecting normally open contact [terminal 1] to allow voltage to go to the load the load. When the start switch [terminals 6 and 7] is OPENED, the OFF DELAY timing
period begins. The contacts stay in the transferred position until the OFF DELAY timing period ends. They then return to their original position (the load then turns off) and the unit is ready for a new cycle.

Do not put voltage to terminals 6 & 7, or else you will fry this Solid State relay.

The load amperage cannot exceed the Amp rating of 1A, or else this relay will be damaged.
