Submersible pump with built-in thermal protection are for use in wells with 4" or larger I.D. in home, farm, ranch, commercial, and industrial applications.Delivers a more consistent volume of water over the range of pressure switch settings than a jet pump. Includes pump, motor, and built-in acetyl check valves. Install vertically or horizontally. Features “in-the-motor” controls and wire directly to water system pressure switch or power supply; no control box needed.

Answer: 
When speaking of a deep well pump, a 2 wire pump will have 2 wires plus a ground wire. Three wire pumps will have three wires plus a ground wire. Three wire pumps are also controlled by using a Pump Control Box. If your existing pump is controlled with a pressure switch and not a control box, you will more than likely have a 2 wire pump (2 wires plus a ground).
