I have new Portable Dayton Forced air, Naural gas heater Model 3VE56, when it is turned on by thermostat only fan goes on, spark plug does not kick in to ignite the flame. It happens 50% of the time. I had similar heater for years and did not have any such problem, recently I turned it on for this winter, it started giving above problem. Thinking it is old heater and went out baught a new heater, plugged in connected to gas, but have this problem of going on Fan only without heat but less offten than the old heater. Please give your input, any help will be appreciated.

Answer:
There may be several small issues that can cause this heater not to ignite. It could be gas pressure or too large of a gap at the spark plug. I would recommend calling our HVAC tech team to discuss option and trouble shoot the issue.
