Bellows-action siphons pumps can transfer fluids to lower levels for simple transfer and emptying. For use with low-viscosity fluids in 15-, 30-, and 55-gal. drums. Pumps have a polyethylene body, piston, and corrugated flexible discharge tubing. Includes bung adapter.

Answer: 
On this item, the long tube will be inserted into your fluid. After you squeeze the bulb at the top a few times it will create a siphon to draw fluid out of the tank. To stop the flow you would use the relief knob on the top of the unit.

My company has purchased a siphon pump (unsure if 2, 5, or 7 gpm). A problem we have is that liquid leaks out of the outlet when finished pumping. Is there a cap Grainger has that could cover the outlet and help with this?

Answer: 
The manufacturer does not currently have a cap available for this unit. It is recommended to loosen the siphon cap at the end of use to allow the fluid to drain from the hose into your vessel. This will hopefully minimize any dripping that occurs.
