We have an add on wood furnace in need of a new blower. The existing ones are model d50. Sorry I don't know much more. The furnace has two blowers and one has stopped working. It looks as though it is very similar in style and size.
Thanks for your help.

Answer:
This blower is used in many applications, one of them being wood burning stoves. I cannot say if this specific unit will match what you have but the application is acceptable.

Answer:
I ordered this to replace a D50 motor on a Hot Blast wood furnace and it is a replacement for that motor.Mine is a 1537G which is a wood/coal combination.. Any doubts about fit, measure the mounting holes on your old blower and check the specs on this blower listing.

Answer:
4 3/8" by 8 3/8" center of bolt holes. 5/16" bolt holes. You only use the 4 corner for a Hot blast 1537G wood furnace. I suspect this fits most other Hotblast. Measure your old flange to be sure.

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

There is no way to determine the life expectancy of a blower. There are too many factors such as time of use, installation type, and application to name a few. If you have more questions please call our HVAC tech support team at 800-472-4643.
