There is no accessories available for this blower. The fan guard would need to be fabricated.

The goal is to replace a 25-year old, No. 7021-7030, Type U21, 1/17 hp, 1.3 amp, 2800 rpm unit. The physcial dimensions of the blower and motor unit appear to be similar but the amperage is much lower on this Dayton unit. Does the Dayton unit have enough strength or will it be overwhelmed by the demands on it? The unit will be used as a Radon fan within a box connected on both ends to 4" intake and exhaust pipes.
