BTU CALCULATIONS

I HAVE A SHOP THAT IS 26FT X 40 FT X 12FT CEILINGS. IT HAS R-10 UNDER THE CONCRETE SLAB AND 6" INSULATED WALLS AND CEILING. HOW MANY BTU'S WILL IT TAKE TO HEAT TO 70'F. IT HAS 4 EACH 3'X4' WINDOWS AND ONE ROLL UP INSULATED DOOR THAT IS 12FT X 10FT. DO YOU HAVE AN ONLINE BTU CALCULATOR?

Answer: 
We do not have the abillity to do a full load calculation. I can tell you as a rule of thumb for a commercial space you will require about 5-6 btu's per cubic foot. This will give you a btu input of 65,000-75,000 btu's to heat your space.
