I am looking to use this product for vacuum forming. I have built a box with two open ends 4 ft by 4ft. The inside is sealed with aluminum foil. I want to sit the box over the heater to melt polystyrene sheets of plastic on the top of the box. My polystyrene sheets are 24 by 24 in also. Would this be a great product for this process? The heater needs to heat up to 425 degrees.

Answer:
This heater is designed to be piped from a hot water or steam boiler. The fan for this heater is designed to be hard wired. You may want to call our HVAC Tech Support. Your application is not common and we would need more details to try and assist you. 800-472-4643
