Rated 1 out of 5 by I agree with Josh79. Terrible pump. Used it to pump Glycol antifreeze out of a 55 gallon drum. Worked great for the first 10-15 minutes, Then after readjusting some hosing went back to pumping and head assemble was making a clicking sound and did not pump anymore. Head assembly was also leaking glycol where the turning shaft enters the head. Bad product. September 20, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible pump. I ordered two of these to use in our wax drum. The first pump broke within 4 day and then the second pump stoped working within two days. I won't be using these again. August 24, 2012

Answer:
This item is not suited for use with thinners. For a pump which would be compatible, you may be interested in item number 3KUN4. As thinners are typically very flammable, you may also want to use a grounding clamp like item number 13M347.
