Answer: 
According to the company which performs the chemical compatibility tests this pump would be an excellent choice for Ethyl alcohol. You may also want to use a grounding kit such as item number 13M347 to reduce the chance of sparking the alcohol fumes though.

We have a 3BY48 pump. Max viscosity is rated at 2000 SSU. I'm interested in one for pumping Glycerol (Almost 3000 SSU) out of 55 gal drums. Do you have a pump for that?
