    Answer: 
    With this pump you will have issues with the stainless steel inside degrading and corroding. You may want to take a look at item number 8DXD1 which is an all polypropylene unit, or item 3KUN4, which is an all PTFE (Teflon) pump. Depending on your flammability, you may want to consider using a grounding kit, item 13M347.

    This pump is chemically compatible with methanol. You may also want to use a grounding clamp, item 13M347 as a safety device.
