I have two Romlair inline fans that use this motor. I'm going to install these fans on some duct work for venting several commercial dehydrators. In this application the fans (and motors) will be running 24 hours a day 7 days a week at between 100 and 130 degrees Fahrenheit.

Under these conditions how long will this motor last?

Answer:
This is a 40°C motor which is a 104°F maximum ambient temperature rating. Anything higher than that will reduce the life of the motor by an unknown factor.

Answer:
No, this motor will only operate in a CW direction. We do offer reverse pitch blades that would in affect reverse the air flow direction. I suggest that you call Grainger's Technical Product Support Team a call with your blade in hand so we can find a simple solution to your air flow direction issue.
