Rated 5 out of 5 by Quiet, comes up to speed quickly, works hard. It's my 7th Dayton motor in my 40 year old one man shop, so it is what I expected -- a good motor at a good price. February 6, 2014

Answer:
Any characters after the 6K324 are for internal tracking purposes. Although, there may be a subtle difference, generally, there will be no problem replacing one item number for a like item number. When orderinig, just use the 6K324 number and your order will go through without a hitch.

A quick spin of the fan is necessary. This motor is less than 10 .weeks old and gets about 70 hours per week. It appears that there is not enough energy upon startup.
