Compliance and Restrictions

Dayton utility exhaust fans are designed for general purpose exhaust applications and may be used in stores, offices, factories, shops, farm buildings, greenhouses, etc. The efficient, easy-to-install exhaust fans come with automatic shutters. Shutter flanges have eight pre-punched 1/4 x 1/2” slotted mounting holes for ease of installation. To resist corrosion, fan guards have a charcoal metallic finish. Wire guards comply with OSHA Federal 1/2” max. opening requirement, and the fan is shipped completely assembled.

Rated 2 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 2 out of 5 by The quality of the metal is poor ( shocker). After installing the shutter fan and turning it on for the first time. I noticed the left side of the bottom balde was missing a nylon bushing that would of hold the blade in place. So the blade tends to not shut a 100%. I wasn't about to pull the whole unit out just for that. Somewhat annoying - especially for being brand new.. October 9, 2013
