Answer: 
With the handle in the left position, the upper left contact is common to the center left and upper right contact. The lower right contact is also common with the lower left and center right contacts.

With the handle in the right position, the upper right contact is common to the upper left and center right contact. The lower left contact is also common to the center left and lower right contacts.

In the center position, none of the contacts are common to another.

Answer: 
This switch can be used on a variety of electric motors of different voltages with different wiring schematics. I suggest loading the wiring diagram of your motor into an electronic file. Call us and ask for a motor technician so you can send the wiring of the motor to him so we can help you with the wiring of the reversing switch.
