    Hello,
    Line 1 or L1 goes to black or hot, L2 or line 2 is Neutral and Ground goes to the "green" GRND screw.

    Hello,
    Question 1 a Pressure switch? I have to answer thet depends, if you are stopping the water flow for period of time yes. If you are aloowing a small amount of water to pass thru the pump, no. This pump should be protected from the elements, it should not be allowed direct water contact. So yes protecting from the elements is needed.
