I'm considering this as a replacement for the Dayton 4C447 blower which was shipped with my wood stove, and it has a box with a variable speed knob installed.

What additional parts are needed to control the blower speed?

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

We are not able to size for explosion proof applications. We do offer some smaller blowers that are hazardous location approved. You can call our HVAC tech support at 800-472-4643 if you know your cfm and static pressure requirements.

I run 48 of these for weeks on end so I like to have back-ups but I hate throwing away the whole unit when I could just replace the motor.

This item says it comes with a Discharge Mounting Flange. Can you recommend stock numbers to connect it to venting/tubing? I need an outflow side to connect the blower through a wall space but am having trouble finding compatible fittings. Thank you.

Unfortunately Grainger does not carry any outlet or inlet adapters for these blowers, those would have to be field fabricated.

One of our customers is asking us what the voltage operating range is for this fan. A plus or minus from 115V is what we are looking for.

Thank You,

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following. Though the manufacturer does not give us a minimum or maximum voltage usually you need to stay within plus or minus 10% of the rated voltage. Thank you for using Grainger Ask and Answer.
