Saftey Switch

I have this motor (1LPN8) mounted on a BBQ smoker. I have only a single on off switch controlling this. Is there a way to wire in an overload breaker to it?

Answer:
Yes, there are a few options available to do that. I would suggest that you call us a 1-800-Grainger and ask to speak with our Technical Products Support Electrical Team for a discussion to get the right overload for you.

I need the shaft to turn ccw looking at the shaft. I would also like a motor like this configuration in a 1 RPM, preferably reversible. I know a shaded pole is nonreversible.

Answer:
Grainger only stocks this motor in the clockwise shaft end and no slower than 2 rpm. The closest motor that Grainger stocks at 1 rpm in a counter clockwise shaft end with the same torque will be Grainger item # 12W364.
