Compliance and Restrictions

  • Green Product - This item has been designated by the manufacturer as an environmentally preferable product (EPP) because this item is RoHS Compliant.

This Class J fuse features current-limiting fiberglass construction and requires approximately half the mounting space of a 600V Class RK1 or Class RK5 fuse. Is also designed to be finger-safe, which helps to reduce the possibility of arcing faults or electrocution. Its dovetail fuse holder design also allows multiple poles to be ganged together.

The dual-element fuse construction offers a minimum 10-second time delay at 500% of rating, which helps to minimize nuisance circuit openings due to temporary overloads and transient surges. The high interruption rating safely interrupts faults up to 300,000A. The fuse also reduces destructive thermal and magnetic forces, and allows opening without venting arc or molten metal and gases.
