I prefer using the flashing yellow LED feature to notify me when my time is up without an audible sound. Is there an option for the user to choose?

Answer:
There is a switch on the side of this unit that allows the user to control the audible output. The setting choices are High/Low/Mute. You can use the Mute setting to just employ the visual alarm.
