ASME B30.26, which is referenced by nearly all Government regulatory publications, requires that rigging hardware have a design factor of 5 to 1. The exceptions are chain slings and hooks, both of which are 4 to 1. For aviation and general rigging, this product is used as general rigging hardware. However, there is no actual manufacturer literature available for it. I cannot put this item into a Rigging Program without OEM concurrence that it meets the regulatory requirements.
