Portable hoist with compact design and low headroom is up to 40% lighter than comparable hoists. Friction-reducing roller and ball bearings and jamproof chain guide provide smooth operation. 2-stage gear reduction utilizes heat-treated hardened gears and operates in grease lubrication.

Answer: 
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following: On manual pull chain hoist, the pull chain is always 2ft shorter than the overall lift. This product would have a 8ft length pull chain.
