leaks

Hi,
I am trying to use this release valve for controlling the air pressure inside a chamber (in some cases 1 psi and in others 40 psi) which falls into the range specified in your Tech. info. my concern is it guaranteed that this product does not have leaking problems under the temperature of 250F?
Thank you

Answer:
This relief valve was specidically designed to be installed into the head of small direct drive tankless air compressors. It also states that this is rated to a maximum temperature of 250 F. If you are working in that temperature range I would recommend finding another option that fits your application with a broader temperature range. If you call 800-Grainger we could ask a few more questions about your application and find an item that would be a better fit. Thanks for using Grainger Ask & Answer.

Answer:
The manufactuer has not rated this valve for cycle life expectancy. This valve is designed for small tankless compressor relief. I would recommend you call 800-Grainger and speak with Pneumatics Tech. We can go over your application and find a product that will be a good fit. Thanks for using Ask & Answer.
