Rated 1 out of 5 by The sizing of this jacket is deranged I'm 5'7", 44" chest, 41" waist, wear size 36 jeans. The sizing of this jacket will probably fail 99% of users. As per the recommendation of many reviewers that stated it would run big I ordered a medium. Long story short the shoulders looked like I could wear football shoulder pads underneath, the hem line was about 3 inches too long, the arms were almost 2 inches too long, and instead of a slim fit it seemed like I could stash two footballs under the jacket.Returned that one, ordered a size smaller. That one had correct shoulders and correct hem, but everything else was tiny; arms too short, I could not even zip it close by a long short. The 'Medium' is more like a large+/extra large, the small is well, small. They missed an entire size in between. not to mention that the overall dimensions would be way too long, way too wide shoulders, ensuring it would look nothing like on the model pictures on just about anybody remotely close enough. Rated 5 out of 5 by Carhartt This Is my second jacket, and everything I own from carhartt is awesome, been wearing It for years February 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME I am blown away with this coat!!!i bought this coat thinking it would be good for the autumn months in Upstate NY. We're well into a frozen winter, -10 averages temps, and this coat is still keeping me warm.During the cold months of sub zero temps with snow I wear a base layer and this coat with my Carhartt Bib Overalls and I am just fine to work outside all day.The ONLY complaint I have is that the sherpa lining doesn't go down the sleeves, its the arctic quilt in the sleeves, which is nice too but... I like the sherpa; I think it traps more air and keeps you warmer than the quilting. January 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything and More Could not ask for a better coat. Working in a lumber yard this coat meets all my demands. i really appreciate the cuff construction, between the tight cuffs locking out the cold, and the sleeves keeping out debris, such a great combination. The chest pocket is a God send when doing work overhead, needing to keep tools and parts close at hand. For those of us who prefer to layer and find a hood restricting, this coat could not be better or more versatile. Thank you for such a great product December 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Men's Sandstone Ridge Coat / Sherpa-Lined Great coat. I like the idea of the two way zipper. The only minor complaint is that the coat is a little stiff when first purchased. November 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very versatile coat Absolutely love this coat. Warmest coat I have ever owned. The only thing I noticed was the shoulder width is a bit wider than I was expecting. However, it allows plenty of room to layer up. January 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ridge coat Good coat! Small was way too small and med is too big. Review your size charts please! This coat should last my son many years... I just hope he grows into the med as the small was very tiny January 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket I bought this jacket for my son and he loves it. It is warm and yet not bulky. It is long enough not to ride up with activities. It has a nice, rugged appearance. We did purchase the hood separately and he is ready for it to arrive. Now my husband wants one! January 1, 2014
