Rated 4 out of 5 by Safety Yellow!!! We need this to be available in Safety yellow. Great fabric and great fit. YELLOW! March 11, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Decent jacket but hood is terrible I purchased to use on my many outdoor adventures including backpacking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. The color is great; is 3 season warm with no insulation; and the fit is perfect for layering. It doesnt feel as though it would hold up under all day rain; but the material is sturdy, quiet, and could be worn out on the town. However the hood is terrible. Probably designed to be worn over a hard hat, but there's no way to cinch it up if your not. The elastic draw strings also don't stay tight so if the Velcro tabs aren't secure the hood droops. This hood is the main reason I hate the jacket. After only 3 months the Velcro from the hood is snagging everything---including the lining (now ripped) and anything else that comes near. This includes my backpack straps (now destroyed since I didn't figure this out quick enough). Thankfully the hood is detachable. But a hood is what I need in a jacket. I really want to love this coat but would not recommend it. March 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great comfort and value its a great jacket! worth it February 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Favorite Jacket Great overall jacket. Has a real "boss" style. I was recently promoted to foreman and needed a more professional look. This jacket gives that appeal. Very comfortable but runs big. I'm 5'9" 170 and had to get a SMALL when I usually wear MED or LRG. Warm but would need a long sleeve shirt undernieth below 50 degrees. More durable than I expected. Tougher than any other rain coat I have. The shell is a little noisy if you're a Ninja but strong enough to withstand a nunchuck attack. October 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jacket This jacket does exactly what it says it will do, keep you dry. It breathes to keep you dry from your own perspiration, keeps the rain out, and fights off the wind. I'm in the timber business so I am ALWAYS in the elements. This is my pic jacket on rainy days. It is NOT a heavy winter jacket for the snow. But is is great even in our cold Colorado rains. As long as the precipitation is "water" and not "snow", this is the ticket. It's the most rugged rain jacket I have ever owned, and wears great. December 3, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING from the moment i put this jacket on i knew I'd love it. Its not bulky like a lot of other Carhartt jackets, it fits will in all the appropriate places.Pros: not bulky, lightweight, very very durable, super comfortable!, drys quicklyCons: not quite as waterproof as you're lead to believe!, I am a 240lb 5ft 7in tall person and built i usually wear a XL. the XL ran HUGE HUGE HUGE. I returned my first jacket and bought a Large. Which was also big returned it and bought a Medium. I can't remember the last time i wore anything medium. If i wanted to wear a sweatshirt under it I'd need a large.Great jacket! highly recommended. since i bought this I've also purchased the insulated version of this jacket J175 (large) and the Arcadia J219. Rated 5 out of 5 by HUGE Jacket Ok seriously, order at least one size down. I'm actually most comfortable TWO sizes down but I'm not layering underneath. (I use as a typical casual-wear spring/fall jacket). That being said; Best. Jacket. Ever.(Fit is only rated a 4 because the sizes are so far off normal) September 7, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great item Love the item. Had my doubts about it but once I received and wore it in high winds and sleet it worked perfect. Kept me dry and warm. April 30, 2011
