Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst Purchase Ever The device has menu buttons that actually do nothing different. It wastes tons of tape. Changing margins do nothing but put your text out of center. Too many acceptances just to print a label. This thing is pure junk and not worth the money. March 3, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good for the price I picked one of these up when I found out how reasonable they were price wise. It has a couple of short-cut buttons that make cable and faceplate labeling much easier. A couple of drawbacks I've encountered are: 1) for most labels, this thing spits out a leader which wastes a LOT of label stock. I have yet to find out how to disable that. 2) The purported "tab" feature for creating multiple item labels such as punch panel labels, does not work. While I have attempted to use this feature on several occasions, it refuses to insert the tab. If Brother can fix those minor annoyances, I'd give it a full 5. December 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent easy to use product for marking everything critical to electric and safety in my plant areas. March 23, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Avoid!! Buy a Brady! Bought this gawd awful printer to save money (instead of a Brady) for wiring and equipment labeling. Box and on-line (through dealer) material said "Ez labels" so I bought a bunch of that type of label. Turns out the box should say "Some.. NOT all.. Ez labels" because it can't print past 1/2". Though I bought about 10 rolls of labels with this printer, about half wouldn't work. The dealer I bought them from took everything back after neither they (Markertek) nor I got ANY response from Brother other than "you should have read the manual". HOW am I supposed to read the manual on a product I was buying WITH the all the tape. Two BIG problems here: First, Brother should label the box so it clearly says "NOT compatible with all Ez tape", and the bigger problem is the company has ZERO response or knowledge in good customer service (they need to read "Raving Fan" by Ken Blanchard!). So Brother could have made money for years on selling me labels by resolving the printer issue, but chose to leave me "high & dry". Thanks for NOTHING Brother!! March 13, 2014
