Rated 1.5 out of 5 by 2reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Conflicting information? This kit comes with flex pipe. Q & A number 6 from Broan customer service on this website advises to use rigid ductowrk when connecting to exhaust fans. Considering that this product is advertised as an bath and ventilation fan, can you enumerate as to why you include flex pipe with the product? May 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Why don't you make a 6" collar for your 6" ducted fans? For bathroom exhaust fan applications, studies have shown that a 6" duct has much less resistence than a 4" duct, thus maintaining the CFM output. In fact, your most efficient line of fans come with a 6" duct. Good weatherization practices require a secure attachment to a dedicated roof vent. Why not make a roof vent with a 6" collar. For that matter, why not also make a roof vent with 7" collar for your range hood fans? July 9, 2013
