Rated 5 out of 5 by Moves large volume of air Average to install with all parts included. Moves large volume of air. Good quality and expect many years service. May 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product really made a differance I did have this installed by a professional. He said he had no problem and we did not use the four inch reducer. We had this for several months now and you can barely hear the motor is on. Liked the night light option as well. March 10, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as quiet as advertised. Only good for new construction installation. Otherwise the 1/4" flanges around the edge of the fan cover mean that you need to cut extra wide hole in order to install the fan box. The rattling noise is annoying when the newly installed fan is turned on. I tried to use aluminum duct tape to tape off all the suspected loose components, hoping to silent the rattling noise but without success. I have to live with the rattling noise until the fan motor quits and replace it with another brand or model. January 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Noisy fan The fan is designed for new construction installation but that is not the issue. The fan is marketed as "quiet" but it is not. Amazon lists this fan as "Ultra Silent" on their site furthering the deception. January 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value Great product. Was easily installed. Does the job well. Quiet. February 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Vents Bath/Shower like never before. Our old fan just wasn't removing the steam and moisture from showers/baths and the bathroom was starting to have a moldy smell. The new 110 CFM, Broan Quiet Bath Fan (QTR110) has really made a difference! No more moldy smell, the bathroom smells fresh and dry.I only wish Broan had a stainless steel vent cover instead of the standard plastic one included in the package. February 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too Noisy I purchased this fan a couple of years ago and had it professionally installed. It is suppose to be with low noise fan and it is not. It is quite loud, louder than the one I had replaced. I'd like to replace this one with a truly noiseless fan but cannot afford to do so. February 20, 2013

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

This unit is hardwired to the housing. In the housing is a molex plug for the motor, this is not the standard 5-15p three prong plug.
