Rated 5 out of 5 by Broan-NuTone has quality products & great features I purchased my unit apprx. 4 yrs ago & the heater element quit. I called Nutone to order replacement part. They diffidently stand behind their product. They sent out a complete replacement heater unit, not just the heater element & at no cost to me. Their tech support dept is fantastic. Whenever I've had a question even if it was just to remove the cover they are very helpful & very short wait time to talk to a customer support specialist. January 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by has worked well for 6 1/2 years till heating element went out. And we did not use heating element that much. Overall rating is good product and would use again except disappointed with the heating unit.the vent is VERY QUIET and we like that very much. December 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good unit, would buy again Had this unit about 5 years now and very happy with it. Noise level is low and does a great job of keeping the bathroom steam free. The heater died, although we didn't use it very often, which based on the other feedback may explain why it lasted this long.Overall I'm very happy with the unit and would purchase again. Rated 1 out of 5 by heater broke after 3 weeks heater only worked a short period of time after it was installed December 1, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good fan but for the heater Have used these in our home remodels and every time the heater has failed within 2-3 years max. I am not sure what is wrong - poor design or inferior quality. We no longer recommend these for our Clients because of the hassle created when the heater fails, and when it is out of warranty, the parts and the labor fall on our shoulders.Overall, we are pleased with everything else, but the reoccurring heater issue is a deal breaker. Rated 2 out of 5 by broken heat element another broken heat element they only seem to last until warranty ends October 19, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Works well but heating element fails about every 2 years. The fans are quite, move a fair amount air and the lighting is real good. I am very satisfied with the vent and lighting. I do not use the heater but the wife does and this is where the problem is. I cannot seem to get more than 2 years out of a heating element. Unit installed in Nov 2007. Heating element failed & replaced under warranty Nov 2009. Heating element replaced Jan 2012. Heating element replace Oct 2013. Cost is just a bit under $50 and is easy to replace. I cannot recommend this to someone looking for a bathroom light, vent and heater because of the heating element failure rate. Before you buy any unit check out the cost of replacement parts. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product with exhaust fan, heater and lights We installed a QTX110HL two years ago when we had our bathroom remodeled. It works great and we just had another one installed in our other bathroom since the existing fan did not remove the moisture effectively when showering. The new Broan QTX110HL is quieter, removes the moisture effectively (no more foggy mirror) and will keep us warm when winter comes. Great product. September 26, 2013

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

This fan/heater assembly is not rated for use above a shower. I recommend calling our HVAC tech support team at
800-472-4643 to discuss the requirements and application to see if we can find a product to meet your needs.

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following. To access the light bulbs you insert a small flat-bladed screw-driver into the slot at one end of the light lens. Carefully pry the lens. Thank you for using Grainger Ask and Answer.
