Rated 4 out of 5 by 10reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by 4 years old and already broken I purchased and installed this item around 4 years ago because at the time it was the only quiet humidity sensing fan on the market. After one summer, I quickly realized how useless the humidity sensor was and basically had to rewire it to bypass this sensor. I'd come home on a hot august day to find my house hot with the AC struggling because the bathroom fan had been running all day long. At other times I'd take a shower and be annoyed that the fan never even kicked on. To top it off, now that spring has come I toggle the switch and find the fan isn't working anymore. Figures it's out of warranty. The replacement motor unity is comparable in price to other quiet fans on the market. I for one will give up the dream of a humidity sensing fan and will replace it all with a quiet fan on a 5/10/15/30 minute selectable timer switch. April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent performance, features Humidity sensing and turn off timer are excellent features, both adjustable, work as advertised, and provide exceptional ease of use. The unit is so quiet it is very helpful it turns itself off.The one thing I would consider doing differently is sizing it better for my bathroom. I bought the 110CFM for my 65 square feet which is a little over kill. I probably should have used a smaller fan and could have used a 4" duct rather than 6".I will definitely buy another Broan sensing for my next bathroom remodel. April 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by wonderful product This fan comes in when needed without any issues. It was worth every dime. March 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly as advertised I installed this fan (no light) several months ago, and waited to write a review until it had been in use for a while. It's great! I didn't want to have a switch, nor did I want my fan running whenever the lights went on - I hate those - so this was the perfect solution. It activates about half-way through the shower, and runs VERY quietly moving a great deal of air (I feel it pulling air out of the laundry chute and under the door!).Couldn't be happier, and highly recommend it. Rated 4 out of 5 by Whisper quiet + There are times when the noise of the shower drowns out the quietness of the fan and not sure it is running- It does not move as much air as anticipated for the price- The bulb included burned out after only 4 months, I hope the replacement lasts longer February 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great features set the snesor and forget it. Very seldom have to use the switch, comes on when needed and turns off when moisture has been eliminated. Very quiet! Very pleased with this product! February 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lives up to its billing Light bleeding through air vents was not expected and is annoying . Night light burns constantly was not expected. Disappointing. February 20, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Humidity function has never worked. Exhaust fan works fine but nothing we have done has gotten the humidity function to work. We could have gotten a much less expensive exhaust fan.We got a different Broan fan for the guest bath. We love it. It has a heater, exhaust, light, and night light. Heats quickly and exhausts well.
