Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 56reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Easy install; not long lasting Yes, it is very easy to install. The noise level (the main feature I was after) was not reduced in my small bathroom but it does move air quite well. However, after about 7 months an intermittent defunct bearing noise developed - quite loud. Had to replace it. May 31, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by This product seems to be average After upgrading my three bathroom exhaust fans, I am not convinced that the CFM is any higher and the decibel noise level is any lower. April 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the best upgrades i have done for great benefit.. Easy to install. much more quiet. improved air flow. All positive. April 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to install; good value for the cost. I'm replacing a 23-year-old Broan Bathroom Vent fan that got quite noisy over the years. Removal of old unit and installation of the upgrade was easy. My old unit was rated 2.0 Sones vs. the 3.0 Sone rating of the upgrade, but it seems quieter than the old unit. The increased air flow was noticeable. The NuTone upgrade kit was a very cost effective way to upgrade a bathroom fan. I'm strongly considering upgrading another vent fan in a walk-through bathroom. Rated 4 out of 5 by Upgrade kit works fine The unit is reasonably easy to install. Fits just fine. I wish it would draw more air flow, but that is likely more characteristic of the model not the replacement fan kit. March 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good instructions, was as quiet as I expected. Replaced one in my other bathroom. Your product met all expetations. Very quiet and that was the main reason for my purchase.Regards,Bob Sternot March 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ease of Installation I chose this product due the ease of installation with the various adapters that came with the product. The installation was easy and replacing the old fan was not a problem. There was no need for any modifications to the wiring and will use this product when I need to replace my other ventilation fans. Kudos to Nutone for making a product with the consumer in mind. Rated 2 out of 5 by easy to install The product was easy to install however the noise was still too loud for the small bath. If the noise level on the upgrade was lowered the product could've been a homerun. I have since replaced the whole fan system with a different brand which is a much quieter fan. March 13, 2014

We need to know the model number of the existing ventilator you have to see if we can get a instruction manual. You may want to call our HVAC tech team to help walk you through the process. 800-472-4643.
