Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unsurpassed quality, as usual. I've been a contractor for 35 years, and most always buy Bosch tools because of their reliability and longevity.I have rotary hammers, demo hammers, barrel grip jig saws, and sanders; all Bosch. The jig saw, a 1582VS, made by Bosch ScintillaSA, in Switzerland, is still going strong after about 20 years.Price point has never been an issue for me, as down time on the job site due to a malfunctioning tool is more costly. Thanks for making professional products! Rated 5 out of 5 by So worth the price! This hammer made 3/8" holes 8"deep look just as fast as shooting a nail gun. Durable, and effortless. I have no complaints whatsover. September 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top of the line product. I've used this drill multiple times in concrete for rebar and all sorts of fasteners, with minimal effort. I have even drilled through stones for water features. Just don't let your brother-in-law borrow it. July 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Great Item if you need a hammer drill I have owned this item for more years than I care to discuss. This product has never failed me in any endeavor I was in. The SDS plus is terrific because you never need to worry about a drill bit falling out of the drill. July 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Performer I've drilled tons of holes for rebar and this guy never broke a sweat (I didn't either). I've also gone through many a slab and poured solid walls without a bit of trouble. This has been my "go to" for getting the job done! April 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by For the money... This drill has done a lot. I rip out floors. I have drilled many holes in concrete. I knock holes in brick walls. Recently it has been leaking grease and overheating. I expected to get more life out of it, but for the money, this tool will get a lot done. August 15, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bulldog Hammer Drill 11224VSR This drill (7/8 SDS) has an internal clutch that is NOT adjustable. Bosch says it will drill a 7/8" hole in concrete, a 1/2" hole in steel, and a 3/4" hole in wood. If I had known that I would not have bought the drill. I am trying to drill a 1-1/2" hole in the ground (for vertical mulching of trees) and the clutch slips. June 6, 2011
