Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome tool I bought this tool a year ago. The old school method I used to use was a water level. I went from that to a pointer laser level. The pointer laser level was an improvement but this is incredible. I had a stand up cabinet that needed to be installed into a hole. I set up the laser with all its lines running and was able to look at every aspect of the cabinets level points. Incredible tool. May 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by exactly what I needed This line laser is well worth the money, i only wish it had a fine tune adjustment for side to side. also i would give up some of the battery life for an extended range. Or rechargeable, that would be sweet! May 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by All squared up Since the purchase of this tool I have been able to square walls faster and super straight! Being able to see three plains helps in so many ways. My tile jobs are a snap now. And the ability to hang from the wall makes it super easy hang ceiling grid for acoustic ceilings. The mounting pole is my next purchase and then set up is going to be even less time consuming. Great tool ! Thanks. April 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice laser level It is nice laser level that you can use for many tasks like building walls, installing tiles, cabinets, recessed lights, outlets, finish carpentry and more. It replaces my rotary laser in most cases, you can turn on only one laser beam if you don't need all of them at that time and save your batteries. Very important function of this laser is locking pendulum when is in off position it helps to save fragile parts from being damaged during transportation or if it's dropped. This laser is nice build, has a rubber grip so feels good in your hands.I could not check the accuracy on very long distance but on 20ft was 3/16" difference, should not be more then 1/8" at this distance.  Comes with a nice case and a mounting bracketWhat could be improved:Laser lines could be brighter it is really hard to see in a day light even inside the house, enhancing glasses help a bit but not included with a laser.Horizontal level line is too high from the floor for smaller baseboard installation or if you want to start tile line low from the floor. You can not go lower then about 5-6 inches. March 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Warranty for a Great Device I bought my first GLL3-80 a little less than two years ago.  It worked great and was accurate as a horizontal level and square line laser until it went off-level a few monthas ago through regular, gentle use.  The 2 year extended warranty (if you register your product) proved very handy as the horizontal leveling went off (about 1/4" over 20 ft) just before the warranty expired. After obtaining an RMA and returning the unit per Bosch's instructions,  I expected a repair but got what appeared to be a new unit. February 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best investment ever!! I have been a remodeling contractor for 40 years and work by myself mostly. I purchased this laser 1 month ago for a job resetting a suspended ceiling. The ties had not been installed properly and were sagging badly. Using the GLL3-80 made resetting the ceiling a breeze, allowing what can be a tedious job move very quickly. The lines were easy to read use in the gage that was in the kit. Some have found navigating through the menu tedious,  I did not find it bad at all once you get used to it.I have since used it to set partition walls and install kitchen cabinets. I should have purchased one years ago.   February 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent tool This tool helped me save a lot of time leveling and plumbing the projects I have been working on. I am very happy with this tool, how it works and the added ability it provides. November 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I first saw this llaser in action when I was supervising a five million dollar production line installation in Turkey. One of my contractors was using to set center and cross lines for alighnment of machinery. Upon my return to the state I purchesed one for myself. I have carried this item in my tool kit all around the world. It saves me a great deal of time in the layout stage. It probably paid for itself the second time that I used it. The case that the unit comes in is very sturdy. I have also picked up the Bosch tri=pod and an extra reflector. I also have used it on several weekend projects around the house. It is worth it's weight in gold! May 3, 2013
