Rated 4 out of 5 by Works good but can not find a replacement pilot bit anywhere. The only reason I wouldn't recommend is because no one can seem to find a new pilot bit. November 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by works great easy to use and change hole saws, where does a person buy pilot bits September 1, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Problem with ball retaining spring Opened the package and had a problem right off.... The Adapter Nut holding the hole saw would not slide into the mandrel. This Adapter Nut, with mounted hole saw, slides between the drill bit and a slot in the Mandrel socket. This is a pretty close fit. As the nut slides into the mandrel, it must pass over a metal spring clip, in a recessed area around the mandrel. The clip allows a small ball to retract when the hex shank drill bit is installed or removed. In my new unit, that clip extended just a little beyond the recessed slot, and blocked the nut from going all the way into the Mandrel. So I had to monkey with the unit to get the tool to work. Also, since the hole saw must be installed in the Adapter Nut before being inserted into the Mandrel. There is the possibility getting cut by the hole saw as you try to push the Adapter Nut with mounted hole saw down into the Mandrel.I assume that my unit was defective, but I'm concerned that in a good unit, the retaining spring will become loose over time, and present the same problem. Rated 3 out of 5 What the WASHER is FOR? It works GREAT without the WASHER!.... but what is it for? It is suppose to fit between the small screw-on hole saw bit and the arbor, but the whole in the washer is WAY TOO BIG! April 1, 2013
