Rated 5 out of 5 by For Household Use, Accept No Substitutes! I traded up to the PS32 from a (rhymes with Draftsman) 12v drill/driver, which worked just fine, but I just felt the need to trade up (impulse purchase). I wanted a PS31 prior to getting the "Draftsman," but the price of the Bosch at the time was a little too spendy for our budget.Enter the magnificent PS32. It's fair to say that, for household duty, you really don't need anything else. This thing is plenty powerful and compact to tackle most tasks thrown at it (new roof on kids' playset, tightening boards on backyard pergola, routine HVAC maintenance, installing towel bars, assembling cribs and bunk beds, etc.). The on-board bit holder is very handy, and the unit has a very sleek overall appearance> The batteries hold a charge for a very long time. The included zippered case is a nice touch, but I set that aside to just toss the PS32 and batteries in my tool bag. An L-Boxx would be nice, but it's not necessary for now. I plan on adding the Bosch 12v LED work light to my tool bag soon, however.. September 1, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Surprise Too often I find myself reading the promotional information provided by the manufacturer regarding a product, only to discover they have an over inflated view of the item. I am very happy to say this time, if anything, the Bosch PS312A was humbly promoted. This drill is an absolute pleasure to work with, especially due to the long life of a single charge and it's light weight design. Working with it, I have also discovered the quick charge time for an expended battery is a big plus. It's also nice to discover the light weight of the tool doesn't reduce it to a light work load. From cabinet repairs to new construction tasks this driver has worked like a charm. I was also thrilled to see it wasn't afraid of tackling the lug nuts on an automobile, with a flat in need of repair. To have all of this and a great sale price, this is one product that has definitely lived up to it's billing. Though I went shopping for a different band name, I am very happy to have gone home with the Bosch in hand. December 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding tool for my toolbox for a great price The best priced tool with the best quality and warranty for your work or house toolbox. October 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Small, but plenty of power Great tool.  Small, but has plenty of power to drill holes & drive screws.  Having the spare battery is great because I can swap them for a new one in the middle of a job.  The pressure sensitive button give plenty of control over what you are driving/drilling. Rated 5 out of 5 by Works like a Champ I am not very knowledgeable about power tools, but this impact drill was worth the cost just for screwing in the pool cover flap securing screws on my enormous outdoor pool.  A regular drill would never have worked as well! September 17, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Charger failed on first charge! Unfortunately the battery charger blew up while charging the batteries for the first time.I returned the tool. September 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than the Yellow and Black 18 Volt I bought this drill and I and picked up the Impact driver as well. I have a friend that uses the same drills to work on small engines and Lawn equipment. After watching him use the 12 volt tools and seeing the power and how they became an extension of his hands I was totally impressed and had to have some of my own.I can now say, this is the best all around tool I have and I am a contractor with a lot of tools. I work part time in one of the big box stores that sale a full line of Bosch tools and accessories. I have to catch myself when ask what is your best drill for all around use. I always ask what are you going to use a tool for but I always narrow it down to 2 Manufactures, Bosch and yes the Yellow and Black tools. I then let them know that I have both and my preference is always the Bosch. It runs smoother, the batteries are more reliable and last longer, they hold a charge longer even if the tools are not being used daily. I have to leave it up to my customer but push the Bosch hard because I feel over all it is the better drills, saws etc. and the accessories, drill bits, saw blades, are the best as well.Remember the people that use the tools to make there living know what is best and will not take a chance at any cost on a tool that is not going to perform, day after day. Last, I can also say in the rare case you have a problem, Bosch is quick to respond and will not leave you hanging. They repair or replace the tool quicker than it would take me to go to the competition's repair center and the cost to me, only the shipping to them. It is less than gas to take it to the other guys repair center.Keep up the good work Bosch, I am sold on anything with your name on it! August 15, 2013
