Rated 4 out of 5 by Remodel Drill I'm in the process of remodeling a house and needed a drill that could do it all; deck, cabinets, sub floor, concrete. Excellent torque and overall performance. A great value. June 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by powerful motor and extra length power cord Yes, I bought this BOSCH hammer drill about a months ago.It has a very powerful motor for the size and weight of the machine, and it is ergonomically well shaped which makes it easy to handle. I also like the chuck-key holder as being part of the cord. I find it very practical for all manner of drilling jobs. June 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice drill I purchased this drill for setting some tap cons into brick and cement ,works great . Had one when I was a plumber and abused it daily! Good dependable drill.I would recommend Bosch products for all applications of use from the due it your selfer to the pro.  April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Compact My manager bought this for me to replace my older drill that had been stolen by an ex-employee. First impression was that it was small enough for me to handle, and had a nice long grip on the chuck key so I could get plenty of leverage tightening or loosening the chuck. I liked the sliding selection switch on top and out of the way, previous hammerdrills had toggles on the side that were easily damaged if the drill was dropped. The depth gauge feature on the fore grip is a bonus, I haven't had a use for it yet but it's nice that it's there. My favorite feature is the variable speed, with nice power at low speeds to get demanding yet delicate work done. Other larger drills I have used burn up if you run them at low speeds.   February 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hammer drill! I received the drill from my son for Christmas. I am finishing the basement of my home that was built in 1947. I used the tool to drill holes for Tapcon screws in the exceptionally hard cement floor. Drilling the holes was much faster and easier than with a much larger B&D hammer drill I was using. Thanks for the great product! February 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Powerful and quick. I needed a hammer drill that would always be ready to go, even in cold conditions and remote locations.  January 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth the frustration I bought this drill 4 days ago and returned it today. I used it for the first time yesterday with a 1 1/8" spade bit with a 1/4" hex shank drilling through 2"x6" studs to wire a garage. On the eleventh hole the bit jammed and the gears stripped. With no load the bit would still turn but if you put any kind of load on it (even just holding the chuck by hand) the bit would stop and the gears would grind. I've used the Bosch Bulldog and the bigger Bosch demolition hammers before and they worked great so I was expecting a tool that was more rugged and reliable than this one turned out to be. I would expect a 1/2" drill to twist off a 1/4" hex shank before it's gears stripped. This drill has cost me 6 hours of work if you take into consideration the time taken to go get it in the first place, then have to return it and get a different one. January 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by After Two Holes? After drilling two four inch holes into a residential cement foundation, the hammer drill stopped working. I was told that the hammer drill was not what I needed for the job and that I required a rotary hammer drill that is more powerful. The 1191VSRK is hopefully being repaired by a factory certified repair facility that it was mailed to on 11/25.2013. November 29, 2013
