Rated 4 out of 5 by good but there are better I love all my Bosch tools, so when I came to buying a new table saw I decide to go with Bosch. This is a good saw that comes with a decent blade, but it has a couple of annoying shortcomings. It does not have a geared micro adjustment that some saws come with which I thought was unfortunate. It is also hard to read the ruler at a glance. The magnifier is small and obscures the whole number though it does magnify the fraction well. For this reason I bought the digital readout option with the saw but it broke the second time I used it and was a fairly complicated set-up and did not work properly when opening the saw to the 24 inch wide mode, I got a refund. The other thing that annoyed me about the saw was the gravity stand which comes up and down easy enough but the rubber tabs on the opposite side from the wheels are so low to the ground when you are moving it that they catch on everything, drop clothes, scraps on the floor etc. Wider inflatable wheels would also be an improvement. When first using the saw I thought the motor was bogging down, but after a while you realize that's just the way it is, it does slow down a little but does power well through large dimensional lumber. I recommend getting the optional width and length supports that some saws come with, they were cheap enough. Overall it's a good saw but I found after a year I was wishing I bought the rigid for less money or the Makita for more money. September 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy stand and nice features I have owned this saw for a few years with no problems. The portable stand works well and was a big reason I bought this saw. I like the soft start for the blade motor and it has worked flawlessly. August 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Portable Very satisfied with accuracy and ease of setup. Looking forward to trying out a new set of dado blades on it. August 15, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Never again I bought two of these things over 6 years. At first they ran great, did everything I wanted them to do. After about 3 years, the motor froze on the first one. Then I bought a 2nd because I was in the middle of a job and thinking the first was was a fluke, and didn't want to mess around, but after two years plus or minus, it started to run slooowly so I chucked it in the corner with the other one and there they sit collecting dust. Rated 5 out of 5 by great saw worked with this saw for a couple of months and it has performed perfectly. cutting hard woods it zip right thru. I use it in my garage and the portability is a blessing. the stand is easy to use when storing. folds right up and rolls away. my son is a contractor and has had one for 10 yrs and it just keeps going. I made my purchase based on his experience. I can't thank him enough. thanks also to bosch for building a great tool. August 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The King of Table Saws I have used dewalt, Craftsman and other table saws before but this one is by far the best. Not only is the saw packed with all the features you need with the accuracy for a professional, but the gravity stand that it comes with allows me to utilize the saw more than I normally would because it is SOOO EASY to set up. Bosch got it right! July 28, 2014
